The House of Music, Art & Culture is currently in the running for Harrisburg Magazine’s 2018 Simply the Best for Best Bar, Nightclub, and Overall East-Shore Bar.

Being nominated for Simply the Best is nothing new for H·MAC. The House of Music, Art & Culture had previously won the Best Alternative Bar for the 2016 & 2017 Reader’s Choice category. H·MAC features a multi-venue arts and entertainment complex that houses three venues, providing customers with the option of dining, entertainment and enjoyment of the arts.

The Stage on Herr is a 350 capacity nightclub and gallery space. Patrons can enjoy concerts, DJ events, theatrical productions and spoken word events. The Kitchen & Gallery Bar is a 150-seat restaurant and bar. The Gallery Bar offers regularly rotating shows of both local and regional artists. The Capitol Room now has a 1500 tap space, making it an ideal space for larger concerts, parties, theatrical events, fundraisers and weddings. H·MAC’s wide range of music is almost unseen and unmatched at any other venue in Central, PA.

H·MAC’s bar is open 7 days a week from 11 AM to 2 AM. Kitchen hours may vary as Monday-Saturday is open from 11 AM – 12 AM and Sunday’s are open 10 AM to 12 AM. Saturday and Sunday Brunches are from 10 AM to 3 PM. Enjoy live music from the jazz trio, Side of Yams, during Sunday Brunch from 12 PM to 2 PM.

New this summer, H·MAC will be running a weekly special Thursday to Saturday for $2 tacos and burritos lasting all day long. Vegetarians can also enjoy this special, as there will be a vegetarian option for both the tacos and burritos.

The House of Music, Art & Culture offers a wide selection of Craft Beer from the finest Ales, Stouts and IPAs. At your next stop to H·MAC, be sure to ask the bartender about our seasonal craft selections! Patrons can enjoy $2 off drafts during Happy Hour, and enjoy the nice weather with our outdoor seating in the courtyard with live music. Happy Hour Friday’s at H·MAC feature live music from pianist Steve Rudolph.
