David Lindley
David Lindley
Eclectic multi-instrumentalist David Lindley has long championed the concept of world music to legions of dedicated fans. His electro-acoustic performances effortlessly combine folk, blues and bluegrass traditions with elements from African, Asian, Celtic and Turkish musical sources. There is something for everyone! Incorporating an incredible array of stringed instruments, David's uncanny vocal mimicry and sense of humor make his onstage banter a show highlight. David has fronted his own band El Rayo-X, collaborated with Ry Cooder and Jackson Brown and lent his skills to Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby & Nash, Ben Harper and Warren Zevon.
Camela Widad
Camela Widad
Camela Widad is a troubadour: one part poetess and one part mystic, with a voice like honey and fire. Her songs have a distinct Nashville vibe; the hooks feel familiar and the melodies easy.

Widad grew up in Spring Green, Wisconsin from a lineage of Dairy farmers, a town where Frank Lloyd Wright built Taliesin, his school of architecture and home to American Players Theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre presenting Shakespeare.

American roots and the fabled American dream converged; a community connected, a small town where everyone knows your name, watching her family work the land with their hands combined with the highly intellectual influence of people from around the world feeding into everyday life in Spring Green. She left home to go discover what these roots meant for her life and along the way music found her.

After traveling as a working actor for a time, she put her music and vocal training to use at a gritty warehouse cabaret theatre singing cover songs with a band and writing on the side. When people started reacting so powerfully to her voice on the stage, she decided to try out her own material at some open mics in cities like San Francisco, L.A. and Austin, TX.

Fast-forward a couple of months and Widad found herself in Austin, TX with her first album ‘Eve’, a manager and playing a regular gig on 6th Street, an appearance on KUT radio & the then local TV station, the Austin Music Network. Five albums later, Camela Widad has come back to her roots with the latest release: 'Warriors of Love'.

'Warriors' was produced by Camela Widad & Michael Giblin (Split Squad, Minus Five) in the Spring of 2014

**Song 'Warriors of Love”'received honorable mention in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest.

**Song 'My Hometown' (un-released) was runner up in the 27 Productions Next Big Song contest
